How to change the default mapping area?
Currently the default area for the school catchment overlay is Toronto. Please move the map to the area of interest.
Why doesn’t the schools catchment overlay open in the area of the property that I have selected in GeoWarehouse?
The school catchment overlay map is independent from GeoWarehouse mapping and will open to a default area. You may move the map to the area where the property is located to find school catchment information.
Why am I going back to an area that I looked at in my previous search?
When you select to view SCHOOLS again in a single GeoWarehouse session, the last area that you viewed will appear on the screen. To go to a new area please adjust the map to the area of interest.
How can I select a property from the school catchment map?
The school catchment map overlay is independent from GeoWarehouse mapping and you may not select a property from the map.
Can I find French Immersion or Private Schools on the school catchment map?
Private schools are not available on the HoodQ School Catchment Map. French Immersion Schools in Ontario will appear on the map if they are part of the Public or Catholic School Boards.
Why when I adjust the school catchment map, the land registry office (LRO) does not change in the search bar?
The school catchment map overlay is independent from GeoWarehouse mapping and will not update the LRO as you move the map window.
How may I print the school catchment map?
The school catchment map is for display purposes only and a print feature is not available.
