The lot size and area is calculated by the mapping software used to generate the ownership parcel. Parcel mapping shown on the site was compiled using plans and documents recorded in the Land Registry System.
Parcel mapping shown has been prepared for property indexing purposes only, allowing viewers to see general shape and size relative to other properties. It is not a Plan of Survey. For actual dimensions of property boundaries, we recommend that you use recorded plans and documents

Hello, I have an issue with geowarehouse lot dimensions. I have read your statement above regarding how lot sizes are stated by using what is on the registry. I understand these are guidelines only but we also spend a lot of money every year purchasing MPAC reports to verify lot size and stated lot dimensions/sizes almost never match what Geowarehouse has posted. Why is there a discrepancy for the lot dimensions as posted on the aerial and then the quoted figure just below?
The majority of homeowners do not have a survey from which to verify lot size.
Please advise.
thank you.

Hello Ms. Di Loreto,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We have looked into your inquiry and found that we are unable to update the measurements to match each other. The reason being that these are derived from different sources. The measurements within the photo and under lot size, these measurements are from the same source (ownership mapping) and should be the same. The details under Assessment (e.g. frontage, depth) are provided by a different source, MPAC. Please be advised that this information is not a plan of survey and that for actual dimensions you should look at a plan of survey.
I hope this helps.
Have a wonderful day.
